Tim's  Wapack Trail Page

The Wapack Trail is a 21-mile footpath that follows the ridgeline from Mt. Watatic in Ashburnham to North Pack Monadnock in Peterboro, New Hampshire.  I've hiked it end-to-end a couple times. The first time was as a three-day backpack early in my hiking career.  The next time was with Dann as a long day hike.  At the end of the day, Dann could barely walk, as he was breaking in a new pair of lightweight "Hi-Tec" hiking boots on that hike.  Lucky for us, we had asked the wives to drive my van to the summit at the trails end and leave it there for us.  It was full of our favorite food and beverage, so we had a nice night up on the summit!
